How do you open the RoboCup?

(1) Hold RoboCup to your chest with jaws facing away. (2) Squeeze the top cups inward using both hands. (3) Clamp onto a surface using both jaws equally.

What is the maximum capacity of the RoboCup?

The clamps open to a maximum of 2 inches and attach to both round and flat surfaces.

My brand new RoboCup is stuck and can't be opened.

The first time opening can be the hardest, often with a 'pop' noise when the jaws separate. RoboCup’s springs are powerful and require strength. An EZ-Spring version is available in purple, light blue, and hot pink.

What are the bottom end caps for?

They unscrew for cleaning and drainage, and also allow space for long items such as fishing poles.

Why avoid hot drinks in the RoboCup?

If knocked off, a hot drink could spill and cause burns.

Are the springs, bolts and nuts stainless steel?

Yes, the hardware is stainless steel. The original 2011 batch was not, but it was quickly upgraded. In salty environments, apply anti-rust spray periodically.

Does the RoboCup float?

No. But a foam pool noodle insert can be used to make it float.

Can I order custom colors and decals?

Custom colors are not available, but we can refer you to our printing source in Florida for decals.

Does the plastic material have UV-inhibitors?

Yes, the plastic has UV-inhibitors and lasts for multiple seasons outdoors.

Extreme drink holder to go....

RoboCup's new drink holder has two wide rubberized straps that attach securely to railings, tubing, frames, roll bars and cages.

Heavy duty ruggedized design is stable in rough terrain and will not slide down even with a heavy drink. Tested extensively both in the Mojave Desert on a high speed off-road car blasting through rough terrain and in the Pacific Ocean with a boat hitting choppy waters.

The insulated internal material keeps drinks either cold and hot yet while also providing protection to your drink.

The reflective safety stripe along the top for visibility and an elastic bungee cinch cord to tighten as needed. The large mesh storage area on the front side holds a phone, wallet, keys and other personal belongings.

Excess straps can be attached to the side of the drink holder and provides additional support. The straps have a long reach with a maximum of 3" / 7.6 cm.

Grommet located on the bottom allows for quick drainage.
